Blogsite’s Development and Future Plans!

The Development

This blogsite is not yet fully developed to its extent, that’s why the Admin is gathering enough votes and suggestions to make it better. Before the development of this site, the Admin thought that he wanted to make a site that would gather his friends in a blogsite where they can discuss, upload photos that can be viewed by everyone in its member’s list. Then, he wanted to make it bigger so, he came up with this site that gathers not only his friends but all the “San Juanians” of Sara, Iloilo, currently students or alumni of the school.

The Future Plans

Upon the development of this site, it would not be able to make this without his plans The site’s development progress would not be made possible without the earnest effort of the Admin in conceptualizing plans. He wanted to create a site that would:
·         create a page that will let its viewers and members/followers to view the events of the school for the year
·         inform its viewers and members/followers of the news and updates of the school
·         show the school’s journey, which would include its achievements and other plans
·         let its members to create questions and let others to answer, if they can
·         let its members post comment and leave suggestions for the current topic
·         cater the other wants or needs of its members/followers

The Admin’s Site Plans

The Admin will work responsibly for the improvements of the site’s design to make it appear pleasant and for the organization of the content and system used for this site.

The plans seem to be beneficial for us, in such that we can still keep in touch with our Alma Mater. But how can the Admin continue his operation in developing this site when he doesn’t have any financial supports or income coming from any organization? The answer will depend on us!

The Process

The blog site is a free site registered to www.blogger.com.
To be able to do all those plans and improve it, there are things that need to be consider. To develop a blogsite is not a problem, but the contents and the maintenance is the problem itself and it needs more affiliation and effort to make it work accordingly to its desired performance.

To the SJA’s Current Students

The Admin wants the current students to get involved in the site because they’re the one who can provide relevant data and information to us alumni. The current students of the school are the most reliable source of information since they are currently in the school. But, who are these students? The students that this site needs are those who are dedicated and willing to share info to the alumni and to everyone. It is also very beneficial if the school’s student leaders, especially the SSG President, School Paper’s Editor-in-Chief and CAT Corp Commander would actively participate and become responsible young leaders to the community. To do this, the Admin needs every person who had read this to take some steps to help, even the contact number of the said student leaders be provided. By the way, the current student of the school, if they are interested, they could be one of the authors of the site, who can access the system of the site, where they can write their articles (trainings or tutorials will be provided) or they can just simply give or send their articles to my email-ad and the Admin will be the one responsible for posting it, of course it is still better to become an author to be acknowledged by everyone.

To the Faculties and Authorities of the School

The blog site is not official nor created to make the school down, but to make its alumni keep in touch with the school, our Alma Mater. What kind of help can the faculty or any authority of the school offer? Simple, their support and recognition for the site! I have mentioned that the articles and maintenance are the problems of the blogsite. The Admin only needs articles from the school that they might think beneficial and relevant to the students, the alumni and especially to the school. The maintenance part will be the problem of the Admin, since he’s the one who developed this. Still, any support or help will be greatly appreciated.

To the Alumni

The duty of the alumni is just simple and would reflect as being a real alumnus. They will keep the students and other alumni be inspired of their achievements and learn from their experience. They can post their tips about everything that they know helpful; achievements, if how far they have reached and how they can support the school. In this manner the sharing and networking will be in cycle.

Finally …

The student-teacher-alumni collaboration will make this site active and on-going! Information sharing is the key therefore, making the site a user-centered site or a “Site of REAL SAN JUANIANS”!

This is the time for San Juanians to be global, by global means accessible and accessible means BOND. It is your choice, and act accordingly with it!

That is the power of internet, but the success of this site will still depend on us.

Thank You!
